La Colmena follows the site's natural topography, with a central spine linking each zone through landscaped paths and terraces. Adult-focused spaces are toward the north: fitness, wellness, dining, coworking, and social gathering. Family amenities anchor the south. The pools form the living center between them. The design balances activity and rest, privacy and connection, creating a natural flow between people, spaces, and the landscape.

FITNESS AND WELLNESS
A complete wellness journey, in one place.
The fitness and wellness facilities at La Colmena are grouped to create a full arc of movement and restoration. Indoor and outdoor yoga shalas for the morning practice and the quiet hour. An indoor gym and outdoor fitness area for serious training. A sauna, a hot tub, and both hot and cold plunges for recovery and ritual. Massage rooms and changing rooms complete the experience.
This is not a gym with a sauna attached. It is a wellness environment designed to be used every day, in whatever combination your body and mind are asking for.

DINING

Shift's planned slow food experience will draw on produce from Finca La Esperanza, the onsite permaculture farm. Current plans include a breakfast buffet Monday through Friday and dinner Sunday through Thursday, with meals available for residents to purchase individually.
Residents can gather around the table with neighbors or take a meal home to enjoy privately. Some evenings may begin with an optional twenty minute group meditation before dinner, creating a gentle transition into the evening for those who wish to participate.
The experience is designed to make connection feel natural rather than prescribed. You may return to the table with familiar faces, sit beside someone new, or simply enjoy a nourishing meal in the privacy of your own home.

The living center of La Colmena.
Four pools set within lush, landscaped grounds. A lap pool for the early riser. A social pool for the long afternoon with neighbors. A family pool and a dedicated kids pool where the youngest residents have a world entirely their own. Cabanas, sun loungers, shaded areas, towel concierge, and changing rooms surround the water, designed for the hours that belong to no agenda.

An air-conditioned Kids Shala for indoor play and activities. A natural playground built from organic materials. A dedicated children's pool.
